How to add a vehicle

Adding a vehicle is the first step to tracking your fleet in Eonsfleet. Once a vehicle is registered and paired with a GPS device, it appears on the live map and starts collecting trip, fuel, and maintenance data automatically.

Register the vehicle

1. 1From the sidebar, open Fleet → Vehicles and click Add Vehicle.
2. 2Enter the registration plate, make, model, and year.
3. 3Choose the vehicle type (truck, van, car, etc.) so the right metrics apply.
4. 4Assign the vehicle to a group or depot if you use them.

Assign a GPS device

Select an available device from the dropdown, or enter the IMEI of a newly installed tracker. If your device is not listed, confirm it has been activated — see “Installing and pairing a Teltonika GPS device”.

Confirm it is tracking

Within a few minutes the vehicle should report its first position. Open the live map and look for the vehicle marker. If it stays offline, check “Why is my vehicle offline?”.
